San Diego, you are pawesome!

San Diego County came out in support of NBC’s Clear the Shelters in full force this past Saturday giving dogs, cats and even bunny rabbits brand new forever homes. We were able to help out in our own little way as well by providing prizes of doggy key-chains with flashlights, doggy bandannas, doggy waste containers loaded with baggies and fan favorite free pet tags!

We were so glad to see that some pets that had been in the shelter for well over a year had found new pals and owners! All kinds of dogs, cats and bunnies came from all walks of life into this facility and many went home to companionship and that’s what the event is all about.

NBC reports that as of 8/22/2017 there has been a grand total of 71,153 adopted pets this year and 139,906 since 2015, the first year of Clear the Shelters!
